Los Angeles based electro-pop artist REL has been gaining a lot of attention over the past year. With her song “Plateau” charting #1 on Hype Magazine and in addition she has been featured on MTV Iggy, REL is an artist to watch. Most recently, she has released her song “Factory” and you can listen to it below!
“Factory” tells about being a feminist in the 21st century and this can be easily interpreted from the lyrics. The lyrics of this song carry a strong message and deserve close attention. The lines from REL’s song “Factory” that stood out to me the most were:
” You wear pink to be that girl
Was that your choice or the world’s?
Stuck yourself in those shoes
Wish you were a size two“
Be sure to check out REL and her song “Factory!” We look forward to hearing her future releases and seeing what is next from her!
