She Must Burn – Album Review

She Must Burn’s self-titled release kicks off with the first song, “Ascension,” that
flawlessly sets the tone for the rest of the EP. Released on Jan. 29, 2016, the EP effortlessly flows between the two vocalists, Joseph Sinclair and Aimy Miller. Sinclair’s vocals seem to push the song to the edge and add an extra dose of intensity to the overall feel, while Miller’s powerful vocals seem to act as the resolution to the intensity that is created and pulled along by Sinclair. While the instrumentals within the EP have the same power and intensity as in the vocals, they do have symphonic elements to them as well that help not only tie each song off of She Must Burn together, but also helps the EP as a whole and the band to stand out among the rest.

I did enjoy every song on the release, but I would have to say that “The Misery” was my favorite and I would definitely recommend that you give She Must Burn a listen and be sure to check out more from She Must Burn at the links below!
